In today’s newsletter, I want to talk about what software tools I use on a day-to-day basis.
Before we begin, I want to clarify something. Don’t spend your time chasing the perfect tool. It doesn’t exist.
Instead, find the tool with the least amount of friction, and learn it well.
In reality, you can make most tools work for you.
My Tech Stack
Bonsai - This is the tool I use for all my bookkeeping, invoices, proposals, contracts, and more.
HEY for domains - This is my email tool of choice and I couldn’t be happier with it. No more chasing inbox zero and spending hours sorting through emails. The system is simple and that’s all I need. I also use the Workflows section in HEY which is amazing if you haven’t seen it yet.
Basecamp - My all in one project management tool. I use this with all my clients and once onboarded here we never communicate through email.
Figma - This software is what I use to design all my websites with. It’s browser based, allows my clients to add comments, and collaborate together.
Webflow - This is where all the website building happens. I’ve been using Webflow for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with this choice. It makes building websites for clients a breeze.
Relume Library - This is an add-on for Webflow but I wanted to mention it. This helps me build websites rapidly. If you are a Webflow user, you must check this out.
Notion - I use this for all internal business processes. I store templates in here, docs, SOPs, and a swipe file for any tool/resource/design I come across.
That’s it!
These are all the software tools I use to run my business. If you have any questions about these tools (or looking for cheaper options) let me know.
I would love to help you put together a system that works for you and your business.
