Project management can make or break your client experience. If you think you are only getting paid for the end result—you're wrong. It's much more than that.

You get paid for every interaction between the moment your client pays the first invoice to the moment you off-board them.

Today, I want to talk about project management, and share a new resource to better manage your client projects.

I like to think of project management falling into two categories:

  1. Communication
  2. Organization

Whenever working with clients you want to make sure these two bases are covered.

Communication builds trust.

I can't understate how important this aspect is when it comes to communicating with your clients. If they feel like you aren't communicating with them, they will immediately lose trust.

No matter how good the end result is, this can ruin the relationship.

Communicate early and often.

Organization builds credibility.

When your clients see that you are organized they will feel you are credible.

This can be seen through using software tools that are easy to use for your clients. The project management tool you use will showcase this as well.

I strongly advise to stay away managing projects through email. This makes it hard to stay organized as projects become more complicated.

Now let's move on to the free resource.

I have decided to give away my Notion project management template.

This utilizes all the techniques needed to successfully manage a web design project.

P.S. If you don't use Notion, you can still download the template. It comes with a video discussing the techniques I use to manage projects.

Grab the template, and let me know what you think!
