If you're a founder trying to market your product or service, you know there is a lot of noise right now. Making it hard to help your customer see what makes you unique. Slowly slipping into the sea of sameness. No way to standout. No way to get people to notice you. My guess is—you've experienced this before. There is one differentiating factor and it's rise to fame is increasing. Great design. Now hear me out, design doesn't stand on it's own well. It can't make a bad business great. But it can help increase your customer's perception of you. And when you're playing the long game, that's a big deal. It's one of the reasons I love design so much. It's the amplifying factor for your brand. If you're a guitar nerd like myself, you know an electric guitar without an amp is nothing. You can play all the right notes, but without an amp—it loses all it's power. Think Jimi Hendrix in the 60s with a stack of Marshall amps behind him. Great design helps you rise above the noise. Design helps you build trust with your customer. It creates an emotional connection that makes them feel seen, heard, and understood. That kind of loyalty can't be bought with discounts, promos, and new features. It's bought with design that makes people feel things. And when your customer connects with you in this way, you become unstoppable. |
