AI in the web design space

Your website needs a custom design

As a web designer, I’ve been thinking about my business and how it will evolve with the rise of AI.

The web design space has two major categories.

The first category I see are marketers using templates (or templated components) to build your website. They focus on speed, business goals, and strategy.

While these websites work, the visual aspect will be replaced by AI. Meaning, the strength for them will rely on the message.

That also means more websites that look similar. AI will speed up the process of basic looking websites because it can spin them up quickly.

For business owners, getting a website that stands out will be even more important.

And this is where the second category comes in.

Custom web design.

Tailored for your business.
Your message.
And your unique voice.

But we all know design isn’t what makes customers buy your product or service, it’s the entry point.

The first impression that makes them stop and read more.

Excellent design falls flat without strategy and messaging.

This is where I am focusing.

Custom design + strong messaging.

For you as a business owner to stand out online, you need more than a template with basic website sections.

You need a website tailored exactly to your message.

Each section of a website I design is focused around the message my clients are trying to portray.

You can’t do this with a template, and you can’t do it with AI.

It requires a human approach to marry the two.

If you’re looking for a new website and contemplating many options, keep this in mind.

The standard is rising, you don’t want to be left behind.
